Since the passage of Proposition 13 in 1978, California's funding for public schools declined dramatically. To maintain basic educational programs and to fund other programs that will provide our children with the best possible education in the Kentfield Schools District, we need to raise significant funds each year.

The Annual Parent Giving Campaign is our major fundraising program, generating approximately 80% of the funds that we commit to the Kentfield School District each year. The Parent Giving Campaign kicks off in late September, and 100% participation from all families is a critical goal of the KSF.

Corporate Matching Gifts have substantially increased our Parent Giving donations, and we encourage any parent who is employed by an organization that provides this invaluable program to contact the KSF for more information.

Stock Donations: The benefits of giving appreciated securities are significant. Your tax deductible donation is based on the fair market value of the security at the time of your donation, if you’ve owned the stock for at least one year.
